The Don Summers Endowment
School of Business, Government and Economics

Give To SPU

Before his untimely death in 2012, Donald Summers taught undergraduate and graduate courses at SPU with an emphasis in business ethics, change management, strategic planning, and human resources. Most recently, he helped promote and lead the annual Social Venture Plan Competition — a unique event that gives students the opportunity to collaborate and develop a plan for a business with a social benefit.

By contributing to the Don Summers Endowment, you help keep his dream alive. You’re not only underwriting annual operational expenses for the Social Venture Plan Competition, you’re also providing for a motivational team prize.

And ultimately, you’re giving students a practical avenue to engage the culture and change the world.

A gift of $1,000 or more qualifies you for the President's Circle, a program that offers special events and premiums for SPU's close friends.

Giving is quick, simple, and secure. You can also create a personal account to update your contact information, manage your giving, and review your gift history at any time. Click here to see if your employer will match your gift.

Thank you for helping SPU honor Don Summers’ remarkable dream for students.
